Some things get worse before they get better
A basic life skill, like cooking, is something that everyone should learn how to do to be self-sufficient. After all, being independent means not having to rely on anyone else for preparing healthy, nutritious, and fresh meals for them. Breaking the conventional stereotype, both men and women should be familiar with cooking, which this person learned in a unique way.
After their roommates kept stealing their processed and frozen food items, cooking fresh home-cooked meals was the solution. Doing so was not only better for their health but also taught them a new skill. Most probably, cooking was more pocket-friendly, too, and now they don’t have to worry about their roommates stealing packaged food items. It’s a win-win.
