Ken Olsen was sure that nobody needed computers at home
When desktop computers started to be commercialized, Ken Olsen said he believed there was no reason for people to have computers at home. It seems that the founder of Digital Equipment Corporation wanted computers to be reserved for big businesses only.
Fortunately, we can find computers anywhere these days. Our lives revolve around them, and it’d be impossible for most of us to survive without them. We wonder what Olsen would say if he saw how commonplace computers had become these past years.
