Thinking that the pandemic would simply blow over
The coronavirus pandemic took us by surprise. No one knew how long it’d last or how dangerous the virus would be. So, everyone made many assumptions back then. While some said it’d last forever, others thought it’d be just a passing worry.
For example, this Reddit user was pretty sure that the COVID-19 would pass just like ebola. They were so confident that they even wanted to make a bet. Nonetheless, they were wrong. The good news is that the world is really close to overcoming the pandemic.
