This politician said that Texans would never turn off their appliances to save energy
Recently, Beth Van Duyne, a Texas politician, bashed the LA mayor for asking citizens to turn off appliances, turn down the thermostat and save energy. She claimed it wouldn’t fly in Texas and shouldn’t happen anywhere in the US.
We don’t want to be mean, but the joke is on her because Texas underwent an energy crisis after all. The situation was so tough that the government had to ask citizens to turn off appliances to save energy. Some politicians should think twice before tweeting.
