Facebook claimed it would never sell your information
Facebook has been involved in a lot of drama these past years. It turns out that the social network allows powerful corporations to use their database. So, they use Facebook users’ information to run advertising campaigns based on their preferences.
However, Facebook wasn’t always willing to share its users’ data. There was a time when the platform insisted that they’d never sell people’s sensitive information. It seems like money can corrupt even a social network’s principle to take care of its users. How sad.
