Legend has it that Medusa, a beautiful maiden sworn to Athena to be celibate for life, was lured by Poisedon into the temple where she broke her oath. While some say Medusa was raped, others say she willingly gave herself to Poisedon. The goddess Athena got angry and banished Medusa to a faraway island so no man would want her. Medusa was sent away with cracked skin, madness, loathsome snakes for hair, and stone eyes. This cake by Sugar_inspired has all these details and we can’t be any more impressed.
