This Snake Might Look Innocent, But It’s Not
Los Angeles-based multi-talented artist Christine McConnell creates terrifying yet undoubtedly delicious confectioneries. This beautiful white rattlesnake is one of her many creations. This cake is made of a vanilla sponge, covered in white chocolate fondant and ganache. The eyes are chocolate chips, while the forked tongue is made of fruit leather.
The white rattlesnake, also known as Crotalus mitchellii, is a speckled venomous pit viper found in the Southwestern United States and should not be tampered with. Aside from being a professional stylist, photographer, model, and artist, McConnell also bakes pastries, confectionaries, and cakes that look like cookie monsters, terrifying spiders, and dreadful snakes this one.
