Is it Cake or a Snake? You Won’t Believe These Slithering Creatures are Realistic Sweet Creations

Do Not Bother The Coiled-Up Snake

This 7th birthday ball python cake is for a little girl who wants to become a snake keeper when she grows up. It was made with chocolate mud cake layered with melted strawberry marshmallows and ganache. It was then covered in brown fondant, airbrushed, and hand-painted to make it look even more realistic.

Ball pythons are popular pets. When a ball python is curled-up, it is usually because it is stressed or afraid. Ball pythons will hide if they feel like they are in danger from predators, which can be anything or anyone (like other pets or anyone besides the owner). This coiled-up cake version depicts that.
