This Python Cake is Endangered

The average lifespan for a Burmese python is 20-25 years in the wild. But, the San Diego zoo reported the longest python life as 35 years. Unfortunately, they are now listed as a vulnerable species. Due to the illegal pet trade, their numbers are decreasing at an alarming rate in their native regions of Southeast Asia. This has necessitated conservation efforts in the Everglades National Park in Florida by the US Fish and Wildlife Services. This cake should raise awareness of how beautiful these creatures are and why we should protect them.
