A Birthday Cake Ready To Attack
What birthday gift is better than cake? Especially one not so ordinary! A woman made this snake cake for her friend’s son Adam on his 9th birthday. This cake was made from three tins of chocolate sponge, carved down into a snake shape, and then covered in ganache and fondant; it was then painted with food coloring.
It is known that snakes coil up as a defense mechanism to maintain a safer body position, to see clearly, and when they want to strike. When stretched out, they become powerless and can’t protect themselves from attacks. This is why we are extra impressed with this snake cake because its coils look so natural, and the head shows it is ready to attack if it were alive.
