This Snake Cake Was Done on the Second Try

Becky Greeneville made this 210’’ round Boa cake for a birthday party. It’s a chocolate cake covered in green fondant with airbrushed snakeskin accents. She posted it on cakedecor.com, an online baking website where she admits that this was just her second attempt at baking a snake cake.

The emerald tree boas were given the scientific name “caninus” due to their dog-like appearance and large heat sensors used to sense infrared radiation and detect prey. For a second attempt, Becky sure did well, didn’t she?
