This Copperhead is Giving Side Eye
When Karen baked this Copperhead snake cake for her son’s 10th birthday, she wouldn’t have imagined it would look so real. This was made with vanilla cake and buttercream frosting and was covered in fondant and airbrushing for a realistic effect.
She then made the leaves from gum paste, giving the cake that extra detail. Copperheads are pit vipers with heat-sensory pits between the eye and nostrils on each side of the head, which can detect a temperature change. She made sure to include those features.
