Find Beauty in Your Hair
For ages, black women have been bothered by the textures of their hair; they worried that an Afro may be considered too messy or untidy. The constant hair straightening only breaks and damages their hair. There is no need to conform to others’ standards.
There is nothing shameful about people’s natural hair. It is who they are and signifies what they are made of. Young girls need to be taught to love their hair as it is so that they do not grow up hating the natural texture of their hair. We should all love ourselves and our hair.
