Stay Soda-Free
Whenever the weather is extremely hot, the first thing that comes to mind is a cold bottle of soda to quench your thirst and cool down. However, soda contains a lot of sugar. And even if it’s diet soda, it’s still not as healthy as water. Yes, it tastes amazing but it’s not worth the long-term health consequences.
Excessive soda intake has been linked to diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and many other health hazards. So, do your body a favor and quit soda. Many people who have quit drinking soda say that the first thing they notice is that they feel much lighter and cleaner. Every time a craving for the sugary fizz arises, opt for a cold glass of water instead.
