Do Not Disturb
We can agree that the constant buzz of our phones can be quite distracting. Even when we have sworn to not touch our phones for the next couple of hours, we still find ourselves reaching out to check the notifications. For some people, this constant buzz gives them anxiety, and therefore it may be that putting your phone on silent is good alternative for a less stressful life.
A silent phone won’t startle anyone or cause anxiety. The notifications can still be checked and messages can still be replied to at your leisure. But without the noise or vibrations, there will be no more the unnecessary sense of urgency that causes stress.
