Remember That Others’ Opinions Don’t Matter
The truth is, as children, we were naturally wired not to care what people thought about us. This is why kids often have no fear and can be themselves anywhere. But as they grow, parents condition them to be mindful of what they do in public for fear of being judged or insulted. Therefore, they naturally grow up considering what people will say if they do certain things.
Well, it is time to shed that mantle. As full-grown adults who pay the bills and take care of ourselves and others, we shouldn’t care what anyone says if they aren’t positively contributing to our wellbeing. So, let’s raise our heads high and do whatever we want, however we want to do it.
