Donald Duck and his nephews are eating chicken, which seems a little insensitive
When you first look at the picture, it may seem like Donald Duck is simply enjoying a nice meal with his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. However, if you take a closer look, you’ll realize that they’re having a roast chicken with eggs.
Birds refusing to fly is one thing, but birds eating other birds take cartoons to another level. We think this behavior must count as cannibalism. Disney animators didn’t pay much attention to this detail, but it certainly makes this Donald Duck episode kind of dark.
