The Smurfs don’t escape the cage even though they fit through the bars
Have you ever heard of the imprisonment of the mind? It’s the idea that many of us confine ourselves to our current reality with self-imposed limitations. Basically, it means that you are the only thing stopping you from achieving greatness.
In the case of the Smurfs, we’re sure they’re tiny enough to pass through the cell bars. Why don’t they escape, then? We guess their self-imposed limitations don’t let them get out of the cage, so they’re just waiting for someone to rescue them.
