Ariel’s weird overreaction when she sees a fork that has almost the same shape as her father’s trident
The only thing that Ariel didn’t lose when she stopped being a mermaid was her obsession with humans and their artifacts. That’s why she’s so impressed at everything she sees when she begins her life on land with Prince Eric.
Still, we think she overreacted when she saw a fork for the first time. After all, it looks like a less-impressive version of her father’s trident. Perhaps finding magic in the little things makes life more beautiful, but she has taken it too far this time.
