Prince Charming says Cinderella is the love of his life but easily forgets her face
Nowadays, we can easily blame Disney’s princess movies for setting up unrealistic expectations for romance. We grew up looking for a prince charming that’d love us unconditionally and look after us for eternity. As adults, though, we realize that princes in movies aren’t that great.
Prince Charming from Cinderella, for example, forgot his beloved one’s appearance entirely. He supposedly fell in love with Cinderella at the ball, but then he had difficulty recognizing her again. We know make-up can enhance your looks. Still, it doesn’t make you unrecognizable.
