Arnold’s ID says he has been born but doesn’t say when
In the real world, identity cards wouldn’t serve their purpose if they didn’t have people’s personal information printed on them. However, in Hey Arnold!’s world, IDs don’t show much about their owners. They only tell us their names and their birth status.
Arnold’s ID, for example, shows that he was born, but it doesn’t say when. The more you think about it, the more illogical his ID looks. But what could we expect from a cartoon in which the main character’s head is shaped like a football?
