Spongebob washes the dishes even though he is a sponge himself
SpongeBob SquarePants and physics don’t go hand in hand. The show has an entirely different logic than most cartoons because it happens underwater. For instance, SpongeBob puts dishes in a bowl with water and soap and washes them with a cloth. (Diazepam)
On the one hand, we felt confused because we thought he used his own body to wash the dishes. On the other hand, we don’t understand why SpongeBob is soaking utensils and glasses in water and soap. He’s underwater—everything’s already soaked!
