There is a monster under the bed
As a kid, it may have been a normal evening routine to scan your room, searching for the places that could harbor monsters. Then, having found none, it could have taken more time to settle your nerves and gather your courage before approaching the darkest and the scariest of placesー under the bed.
Sometimes, peaking under the bed is even nerve-wracking for adults. Forget about monsters, there could also be spiders or cockroaches hanging out under there. It seems @AyvlisFlores is more confident than most of us. At least she was confident enough to fly on her bed rather than run off.
