Cold, dark, and wild

Typically, as adults, we no longer use nightlights during the night. Sure, it can get scary sometimes, when everything goes pitch black, especially in the dead of winter, but darkness promotes relaxation and stimulates the production of melatonin, the hormone that helps us fall asleep more easily.

Some of us like to sleep in chilly and dark environments. But adding a little bit of “the wild” into the mix gets things quite interesting. Some of us are like @fallon_for, who tries to imitate the wildlife by filling their beds with stuffed animals. So it becomes cold, dark, and wild. That’s pretty fun, to be fair.
