Snakes in the toilet
Snakes are cold-blooded animals. Also called “ectothermic,” snakes don’t produce body heat. Instead, they rely on external heat sources to support their bodily functions; depending on their environment, they look for places that can warm them up or cool them down. Unlike snakes, we are warm-blooded beings and use mechanisms such as shivering, shaking, sweating, and cellular activity to regulate our body temperature.
These ectothermic creatures don’t have such luxuries, so they heavily rely on their environment. It seems the place that offers a cool, wet, and dark environment for snakes to cool off and relax in is the toilet. Therefore, during your next visit to a restroom, it might be worhtwhile double-checking the toilet. Be like @dheldmann.
