Hoarding animals is unethical if you can’t care for them
Sadly, even animals are hoarded. Some people have a sick need to protect or take care of them, which only results in neglect. Many of these animals get underfed and die of malnutrition or disease. Taking care of dogs isn’t cheap, especially when taking them to the vet. So, how can one person be able to take care of so many little puppies?
Sadly, realistic expectations can’t be associated with compulsive hoarding. If so, no one would need to tell this person that one home is too small for more than ten dogs. Ten is even a stretch unless the person is a dog lover and has the means to care for them. Thankfully, these dogs were rescued, but like the case of the snake hoarder, many didn’t make it out.
