Does she ever knit with this collection of yarn?
Many people who crotchet know there is no feeling as irritating as running out of yarn in the middle of a good flow. If that is the case, it is understandable that someone might want to hoard as many yarn balls as possible, but this only makes sense within a reasonable limit.
Loose yarn can get tangled with wires, caught up in different things, and cause unnecessary clutter. It becomes even worse if you have cats because they’ll chase that ball of yarn around the house until it becomes a mess of threads. Hopefully, these don’t get out of hand.
