Too many strings attatched
It’s comforting to know that Tom’s whiskers were spared. That doesn’t justify the need to hoard broken guitar strings for 35 years unless they are of sentimental value. It would make sense if this user is a famous guitarist with musical escapades that involved touring across different states.
Imagine telling your grandkids, “I broke this guitar string while touring Texas.” That has a nice ring to it and would make more sense. I hope there is a lovely story attached to each of these broken strings.
