When will they realize an overflowing cabinet of mugs is a problem?
Like glassware, hoarding mugs is very common. A lot of people do not even realize that they hoard them. They just have several mugs in their kitchen but use only one every day. Even when their favorite one they use has a broken handle or gets shattered, they’d rather add to the hoard than use one of the old ones. Sound familiar?
This may describe you, and that’s fine. There are different levels to hoarding, and it is only considered a problem when the hoarder’s mental health slowly deteriorates, becomes reclusive, and cannot see the clutter and mess they live in. If you can still fit your mug hoard in a cabinet and keep it tidy, who says you can’t keep them?
