Someday, I will fix my broken necklace and wear it again. That broken beaded earring will go perfectly with my red shirt, that is, if I find the time to fix it….and so begins a never ending cycle of gathering a pile of broken jewelry that one surprisingly never finds the time to repair. Sorry Heather, you will likely never find the time to fix all this broken jewelry, even if you wanted to. It’s not your fault, it just happens!

Broken jewelry, chains, and beads should be donated to a community center for arts and crafts. They’ll put it to better use than leaving it wasting and rusting in a pile. Sadly, it would take a lot for most hoarders to part with their stash. Knowing that these items are cherished by people who need them may be easier than leaving them to waste away.
