A Joe Pesci Instant Classic
This is a line said by Tommy DeVito, played by Joe Pesci, in the film “Good Fellas.” Tommy DeVito tells a hilarious story, and fellow mobster Henry Hill tells him that he is a funny guy. However, DeVito does not seem to take that as a compliment. This is because he wants to be seen as a no-nonsense guy.
Tommy DeVito proceeds to dole out the classic line, “I’m funny how? I mean, funny like a clown? I amuse you? I make you laugh?” The situation gets increasingly tense. But, after a few minutes of F-bombs being dropped, Tommy acts like it was a joke all along.
