This line has been the birth of hundreds of memes. The memes are often used for comedic purposes. However, the scene in the film had nothing to do with comedy. The line is said in the movie “Taken,” uttered by the protagonist character Bryan Mills.
Bryan Mills is searching for his teenage daughter, who has been kidnapped. During a phone call with his daughter’s kidnappers, he says, “I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a ransom, I can tell you I don’t have any money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, and I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, and I will kill you.”
