Only a few movies are as quotable as the 1980 disaster movie parody “Airplane!.” The film had a lot of memorable gags, but one of the best is when pilot Ted Striker tells Dr. Rumack, “Surely you can’t be serious,” and Dr. Rumack replies, “I am serious, and don’t call me Shirley.”
