The One That Made Robin Williams A Star
“Gooooood morning Vietnam” are words said by Adrian Cronauer in the 1987 war and comedy “Good Morning, Vietnam.” The film tells us the story of Adrian, who is a Disc Jockey, as he goes to Vietnam to work for the Armed forces. Adrian quickly becomes popular amongst the troops, but his superiors disapprove of his humor.
His broadcast consists of him reading censored news, added with irrelevant humor segments. He also throws in rock and roll music. We also can’t forget how he always says the catchy phrase, “Gooooood morning Vietnam!”
