Listening to a good song can make you feel all sorts of emotions. However, that should not give you fuel to criticize your girlfriend. Maybe the fact that a song does more for you than she does is your fault.
This person left themselves wide open for a comeback with that comment. Regardless, try not to make fun of people for really liking something. Nobody should feel afraid to express their enjoyment in any way they want to.
