No one believed they had a girlfriend
No matter how shy, ugly, or mean you are, there will always be one woman that loves you: your mother. However, if you manage to build a healthy relationship there is no reason why there cannot be a second woman who cares for you.
That said, this person’s Facebook friends did not believe they could ever get a girlfriend. Perhaps they decided to make this jokey comment to ensure the poster did not begin to feel superior now that they were in a relationship.
