Trying to look like a rebel can backfire
This is an example of how not to look cool. This young person tweeted that they were planning on throwing a party, and tagged the local police department to paint themselves as a rebel. Nevertheless, the department’s official Twitter account shut the youngster down.
Tagging the cops to tell them they could not come surely made the person feel they were being cool and ironic, but it severely backfired. No one responded to their public invitation except for the police, who even pointed out how few interactions the original tweeter had received.
