The Big Pump is a must-see attraction in King City
A common theme among these American locations is definitely oversize objects. But did you know that Missouri is known for having a lot of these so-called “world’s largest” attractions? Most of them are completely wild. The state is the home of the world’s largest chess piece and the world’s largest roll of toilet paper.
One of the weirdest attractions of this state, however, is this 20-foot-tall structure of a gas pump. It is called “Big Pump,” the most iconic place in King City. So much so that it is on the National Register of Historic Places.
