Each city is known for being the best at a particular thing. Las Vegas is often called the world’s entertainment capital; Los Angeles is known for its movies and Huston for the space launchings. The thing that makes the city of Eveleth, Minnesota, stand out from the rest is its Hockey history.
It’s no surprise that the huge hockey stick in this picture sits somewhere in this city. Eveleth is the birthplace of several famous hockey players like Doug Palazzari, Sam LoPresti, Mike Karakas, and Wally Grant. This hockey stick is free-standing and has its own giant puck.
