Water towers are a great opportunity to make advertisements that can be seen all across town. Besides, with this method, all you need to share your message is paint and a brave soul willing to climb up and write it. The sad part is that changing a sign on a water tower can be pretty challenging.
A weird message is written on the water tower of Florence, Kentucky. In 1974, developers wanted to advertise a new mall on the water tower. Their statement read “Florence Mall.” However, it was illegal to make an advertisement for something that had not been built, so they changed it to “Florence Y’all.”
