This tree stood at the corner of South Finley and Dearing Streets in Athens, Georgia. The story goes that Colonel Willam Henry Jackson loved it so much that he gave it autonomy on his will. Sadly, in 1942, the tree fell, and a new one was planted in its place four years later.
