Again we can see that humiliation is an excellent technique to keep your students in line. For the students, your status among your peers is everything. Having a teacher demolish it can be, in fact, pretty humiliating. So you go by their rules.
And to be honest, is there anything more degrading than having to apologize to a pig collection in front of all your classmates? It is good to see the creativity teachers use to achieve this means and that, in the end, they are not harmful methods at all.
