Too personal
As you may know, some teachers try to share some of their private lives with their students to show themselves more relatable and create a stronger bond between them. It would usually be small details, like which movies they liked, their favorite foods, or even the music they would listen to.
In this case, it would seem that the teacher went overboard. I guess no one wanted to know about the problems he had with his ex-wife. And it isn’t something young children can relate to. At least they face it humorously. Let’s hope he was a good singer.
