Teaching the hard way
Sometimes, as a teacher, one must get ingenious. There is nothing harder than controlling a group of hyperactive children, and telling them they shouldn’t do something is the best recipe to have them actually do it. But in some cases, they should create their own set of rules.
Just like did Mister Adonizio, who clearly explained what would happen if he caught someone chewing gum on the first day of school. There isn’t a better deterrent than forcing the guilty students to chew other people’s old gum. Let’s hope no one had to find out if he was telling the truth.
