Predicting the future
At school, sometimes it’s hard to understand how helpful some lessons will be in the future. Knowing in which year Napoleon died has never come in handy in my adult life. But what is certain is that you can’t put a price on good education. It helps you prepare for your future.
In this case, the teacher predicted something that actually happened, and their students didn’t believe them at the time. Living in a world where everything is ordered through apps, delivered by drones, and bots automate everything, it is good to have a good education—just like @Racheljean_MN’s teacher said.
