Sometimes, students arrive at school in a zombie-like status. It is too early to think, to stay awake, to do anything. We all remember how hard it was to wake up early, get dressed, have breakfast, and run to school. It was inevitable to act like the walking dead when you arrived.
It is good to see that this can happen to teachers too. In this case, the teacher couldn’t get their ideas straight and got confused about how a roll call worked. Although, if you think about it, it would be an effective way to take roll call.
