Seinfeld- The Fix-Up (S03E16)
Yet another classic “Seinfeld” episode that even won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, “The Fix-Up,” focuses on George’s lost hope for dating. He tells Jerry he is seriously desperate for a date. Elaine tries to fix up George with Cynthia, who is also interested in dating. They have sex, but Cynthia is very uncomfortable because it happens in George’s kitchen. Cynthia is honest with Elaine about the date, and George relays his side to Jerry. However, they ask their friends not to share the details with anyone. Because of the sex issue, though, she refuses to return George’s calls.
The episode is loved by many because Cynthia and George make up, but then she is disgusted by how he behaves at the table. She affirms that he has no table manners.
