Four Ways to Style Graphic Tees This Spring

For us, a good graphic tee is a closet staple, practically a capsule piece, if you will. They are comfy to wear and can provide a fun pop of color and typography to just about any outfit. Since we’re so passionate about graphic tees in our wardrobe, we thought we should share the many ways we like to style them, so let’s get to it!

Biker Babe

Biker shorts were everything last summer and we don’t anticipate them going anywhere this summer, and while we were skeptical to try them, you had to pry us out of them. The graphic tee, biker short, oversized denim jacket combo is unmatched and we love to see it. This is a comfy outfit that still looks super trendy and can be dressed up a little if need be, making it perfect for grabbing coffee with friends or even hitting the road for a little summer vacay. (Ambien) Since biker shorts are a little trendy and edgy, we love the idea of pairing graphic band tees with them, especially if that oversized denim jacket is a little distressed.

Like a Boss

If you frequent an office with somewhat of a strict business casual dress code, find comfort in the fact that graphic tees look great with slacks. If your office runs a little chilly, as most of them do, add a layer by reaching for that denim jacket or leather jacket if you feel like that’s more your thing; if you’re just a boss babe through and through, add a blazer. To dress up the fit, we say add a pair of statement earrings, or layer up the delicate gold jewelry.

Knotty

Pairing graphic tees with a bodycon skirt is a favorite look of ours, but to be completely honest, sometimes the proportions get a little tricky since the skirt sits so close to our body, and the graphic tee is a little roomier, so we suggest knotting that graphic tee to even everything out. Since it may still be a little chilly where you are, you already know, throw on that denim jacket, and to add some fun casual, even retro vibes, we recommend wearing a pair of crisp white sneakers.

If bodycon skirts aren’t your thing, but you like the idea of a skirt and tee combo, opt for a maxi or midi skirt! These skirts typically come in every print imaginable, which we love, and pairing a printed skirt with a graphic tee adds just the perfect amount of juxtaposition to your look. You can pair this fit with booties while it’s still a little chilly out, sneakers if you’re the queen of comfort or even a strappy block heel.
