Seinfeld- The Marine Biologist (S05E14)
This is considered one of Jerry Seinfeld’s favorite episodes. Twyla created this drawing about Jerry showing off his favorite shirt, which he calls “Golden Boy,” to Elaine. The episode continues with Jerry and Diane discussing what George is up to at the moment after years of not seeing each other. Before their meeting, many of their old school colleagues have been doing well in their various fields. George pretends he is a marine biologist and has been on the TV talking about a science program that Diane loves.
She is very interested in his career, so they start dating, which seems like fate after taking a walk on the beach. When a beached whale is in distress, George must muster up his fake marine biology knowledge to save it. It’s very funny because he pulls a golf ball out of the whale’s blow hole, which belongs to Kramer. It’s also an iconic episode because Elaine meets the famous Russian author Testikov. It is also funny because Jerry made a joke about him, getting him in trouble.
