Catching a Falling Knife
Trying to catch any falling object is a dangerous thing. Unless you are in the military and trained on how to catch knives, you should have no business trying to grab them. If not done safely, a knife could potentially slice your hands.
This Reddit user replied to the thread: “what’s a mistake that you made once, that you’d never do again.” The user said the knife sliced his finger on its way down and fell point down on his toe. Get out of the way when a knife is falling. The Reddit user also credited his reason for now wearing shoes while doing the dishes to this harrowing experience.
